These are static pages that you cannot delete as they are standard to all surgery websites, although you can still move them into any category and they will automatically colour code. Example text is below:

Appointments

Patients who register their mobile number with us will receive an appointment reminder by text the day before their appointment.  If you would like to receive text reminders please let the reception team know.

Unattended Appointments (DNA)

If you are no longer in need of your appointment or unable to attend then please remember to cancel your appointment.

Appointments are always in high demand.  If you cancel your appointment as early as possible we can offer it to another patient.

We operate a practice policy for patients who repeatedly fail to attend.  If you fail to attend 3 appointments with any healthcare professional you will receive a warning letter reminding you of the importance of cancelling unwanted appointments.  If following this letter you fail to attend another appointment without cancelling it you will be sent a final warning letter.  Persistent poor attendance will result in you being removed from the practice list.

Appointments

Appointments are for the individual the appointment is made for only.  If a family member is also in need of an appointment please make them a separate appointment as the Doctor or nurse does not have the flexibility within their clinic times to double book appointments.  They will decline a request to treat a second person at your appointment.

Attending without an appointment

We do not operate a walk-in service, all surgeries are by appointment only.

Home Visits

There are few medical problems that require a home visit. Please telephone before 10:30a.m, if possible, as the Doctors go out on their rounds after morning surgery. When calling, the Receptionist will take your name and telephone number and the triage nurse will call you back. She will ask the nature of the problem, so that we can decide how urgently you need a doctor.
